Hi, I'm Mel!

Most days you will find me enjoying my 'day job' as an agricultural specialist, wrangling our small menagerie of animals at home, trying to convince my little one to wear shoes to school and finding ways to sneak small bits of candy as often as humanly possible.

I have always loved photography growing up. I remember using cheap disposable cameras on our family camping trips during the summer and taking numerous photos of birds, rocks, and my brother in goofy poses. I got my first nice film camera in high school and have been practicing (and taking bird pictures) ever since.

I am absolutely an extroverted introvert if that is such a thing? I love to laugh, make others laugh and have fun, but I also love being a fly on the wall during all the quiet moments of the day.

When I am not working you can find me working on personal photography projects, riding my cowhorse- Katniss, gardening and binge watching true crime shows.
